The IDC rank is important for at-a-glance assessment. The information we provide enables you to determine why things are going well or not so well.

All of this important data is contained in each of the ratios that comprise the overall rank of quality. IDC's ranks have become the accepted standard for financial institution quality measurement.

IDC has certificates of quality which may be framed and posted for customers to see. These certificates are available for purchase to subscribing institutions.

Certificates may be purchased at a cost of $25.00 each.

Since 1985, over 95 percent of those institutions that failed were ranked below 50 (Lowest Ratios) prior to failure - with the majority ranked One (the absolute lowest rating we assign).

IDC's ranking system is used by Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, Ginnie Mae, government regulators and many states and municipalities as a guide for determining potential financial relationships. Individual institutions rely on IDC's data for evaluating their performance and setting goals to improve quality. Private companies, individual investors and insurance companies, to name a few, also rely on IDC's timely information.
